Busted was the 14th episode of Season 6 of Roseanne, also the 136th overall series episode. It was written by Amy Sherman, and was directed by Phillip Charles MacKenzie. It originally aired on ABC-TV on January 11, 1994.
Synopsis[]
Mark breaks up with Becky because he doesn't think he's good enough for her and Becky is mad at Roseanne for making her push Mark to go to school. Roseanne finds out from Mark's roommate Roy-Al, that David has been living with Darlene in Chicago and she tries to hide the fact from Dan.
Plot summary[]
Darlene is fed up with David, who has been secretly living with her for months instead of his mother in Michigan, as Dan and Roseanne believe, but feels guilty for constantly having to lie to her parents. A miserable Becky unfairly blames Roseanne for Mark walking out on her. Tired of being blamed for the whole mess, Roseanne tries to get Mark to patch things up with Becky, seeking him out at his friend's apartment. Roseanne discovers the truth about where David is from Mark's confused roommate, prompting her to go to Chicago, and drag David home with her, but lies to Dan about why David is back in the house.

- This episodes guest actor Ahmet Zappa , who played Mark's friend Roy-Al, is the son of legendary rock musician Frank Zappa, who had passed away just a month before this episode aired. Ahmet Zappa would make another appearance in the Season 9 episode "Pampered to a Pulp" but playing a waiter.
