Construction Junction was the 16th episode of Season 8 of Roseanne, also the 189th overall series episode. It was written by Daniel Palladino and was directed by Gail Mancuso. It originally aired on ABC-TV on February 13, 1996.
Dan and Roseanne debate on whether or not Dan should make a bid for a potentially lucrative drywall job while Jackie becomes addicted to the internet, forcing David to intervene.
When Dan's buddies show up with a great new job prospect for the old crew, Dan is confused: Should he continue on at the garage or make a bid on a huge construction job that would make him & his friends a lot of money? Meanwhile, Jackie gets hooked up to the Internet: her initial reluctance doesn't last and soon David needs to intervene.
- This episode could be seen to foreshadow season nine's "Call Waiting" and "Millions from Heaven" in which Roseanne and Jackie play and win the Illinois State Lottery, winning the 108 million dollar jackpot.
- The scene where this occurs is the episode's end, where Roseanne tells Dan that she figured out how rich people stay rich: lottery tickets
