December Bride was the 11th episode of Season 8 of Roseanne, also the 183rd overall series episode. It was written by William Lucas Walker and was directed by Gail Mancuso. It originally aired on ABC-TV on December 12, 1995.
Synopsis[]
Scott and Leon have trouble planning their wedding until Roseanne offers to plan it for free. This includes dealing with Leon's cold feet/self-doubt about his sexuality. Roseanne helps the two "lovebirds" prepare for their marriage. Norm Crosby appears as Reverend Crosby, and June Lockhart of "Lost In Space" TV series fame also makes a guest appearance as Mrs. Carp, Leon's mother.
Plot summary[]
Roseanne finally gets to meet Leon's fiancé, Scott, and learns that they are planning a wedding. In order to free Leon up to travel to Minnesota to meet the minister, Roseanne volunteers to finish planning the wedding - which becomes "one gigantic, offensive, Roseanniacle ball of wrong". Leon develops a bad case of cold feet, and it is Roseanne to the rescue.
