Delaware Street is one of the streets in Lanford, Illinois. Located in a residential area, the area seems to be mostly occupied by lower-middle class families, such as the Conner Family, who live at 714 Delaware Street on the corner of Third Street. Due to this proximity, it would seem it is only one street over from Main Street (First Street).
Only a a few of the Conner's neighbors have been identified. The house next to the Conners (712 Delaware) has had a moderate turn-over over the years. In 1991, it was occupied by the Bowman Family, who moved out after a burglary. It then sat empty a while until the Tilden Family, a father with two daughters, moved in to the neighborhood. An elderly couple of nudists known as the Correlis moved in next. earning the shock and amusement of the Conners.
A Muslim couple named Samir and Fatima has moved across the street (713 Delaware) from the Conners in recent years, becoming friends with the Conners. In later years, Darlene mentions the Millers who have a hot tub. There is at least one empty house on the corner across from the Conners (possibly 711 Delaware) which Roseanne and Dan claimed was haunted by a crazy lady in order to scare their kid one Halloween.
