Hot For Teacher and Writing a Wrong is the twelfth episode of Season 4 of The Conners, also the 63rd episode overall.

Summary[]

Mark's returned to public school and finding it hard to fit in; and when Darlene finds out what Mark's doing to make a little extra cash for college, she's anything but happy about it. Meanwhile, Becky finds herself in an interesting situation with one of her college professors.

Plot[]

Becky finds a man that resembles Neville while Darlene is concerned that Mark Junior might start Rapping. She tells him to join an Orchestra instead.

In-Depth[]

Mark Junior has to go back to a school where he intentionally annoyed every body on his last day. Dan told him that students all the time leave and return despite never expecting to return. Becky suggests that he gets home schooled instead. The reason why is she wants him to watch Beverly Rose. She also asks Dan who has to work at the very dangerous hardware store. Jackie says that it is Senior Citizens Day at The Lunch Box. Darlene says that she is going to move out of the house. The best choice is to take Beverly Rose to class. Beverly Rose is now a student at University.

In the very small class, Becky has difficulty hiding her. She immediately sings to the Old MacDonald song while Becky tries desperately to pretend that it is Becky that likes to sing. Professor Glen is very understanding and decides to recruit Beverly Rose as a Lecturer. He carries her to the large Marker Board to Connect The Dots forming a Triangle. He talks about The Dark Triad Personality Traits. His next question Becky effectively answers that Humpty Dumpty might have been Suicidal. Beverly Rose understands every thing they are talking about. Bringing Beverly Rose to University is a success. However, it risks other students bringing their children to class. Darlene is cleaning with a fine tooth comb. Harris and Darlene talk about Mark Junior. Harris is interested in his Drugs as well as his Wads Of Cash. Darlene is alarmed that it is $500.00 U.S.D. while Harris says that Mark Junior needs to shut up about University as he has the perfect career.

Jackie is working at The Lunch Box while Ben, Dan, and Darlene are dining. Dan and Jackie disagree about if he is Doing and Selling. Darlene says that he is going to continue to lie about it. Darlene is worried that she is wrong, and is not sure what else it could be. Jackie suggests that they detain him with Violent Dogs in the room. Darlene tells her to go away. Dan tells Darlene about the surge of new friends at the house while Ben was introduced to an older kid. He also says that it is Darlene's fault that Mark Junior is so corrupted. Jackie returns to say that Darlene must know about most of her Situations involved Drugs. Becky arrives at work to tell Jackie about how well it went in class. Becky, who wants to date new people as a Recovering Alcoholic is considering Glen.

Mark Junior is conversing with a Senior Student. He proceeds to Interview the guy about legitimate hardships to which he can think of only being Lactose Intolerant. Mark Junior beings to exaggerate on the Admission Letter. He also disregards Tyler's Academic Achievements.

Darlene intercepts Tyler and demands his Medications.

Eventually, she forgets about Tyler and instead grills Mark Junior about the Wads Of Cash. He says that he needs to write these papers so he can afford to go to school. He goes on to rationalize what he is doing no matter the high risk. He takes his Wad Of Cash to a Bank.

Becky arrives to class early to tell him she needs to find a different teacher. He tells her that he is the only teacher for a subject required for her degree. They talk about the possibility of getting in to trouble. However, they continue to date in secret. Becky happens to be an expert at this.

At home, Mark Junior is confronted by a parent, who is SUPPORTING his efforts. He demands he writes a better Essay as he feels it is not his money's worth. He says that two students came forward that Mark carbon copied his letters in order to make money faster. He warns Mark Junior that they are going to riot so Darlene has to shut the door. She tells the angry parent that Mark will gladly refund their money. However, since the parent is supporting this cause, he demands a better essay because he simply did not like what Mark Junior wrote for his daughter. The dispute between the two of them are now suddenly Mark Junior and Darlene's problem. Everybody has to drop the ball as both Mark Junior and Skyler (and Skyler's Father) are involved in a crime. He accidentally tells them that Skyler did not need to even ask Mark Junior as Skyler's family is so rich, they can buy her a University. Darlene now understands what Mark Junior is going through. She reminds him to stop doing Illegal Things and instead says she is going to buy him Real Musical Instruments for him to practice. She wants him to apply at Universities that have openings for students in their Orchestras. She suggests to begin with the Contrabassoon, which sounds lovely. She pauses the Music as she says those simple notes shall require at least two years of practice.

Dan remembers an Ancient Chinese Proverb to pass down to Beverly Rose. She agrees to take care of Dan for ever so long as she gets an Allowance.
