Lanford Custom Cycle was a short-lived motorcycle sale and repair shop in Lanford, Illinois. It was owned and run by Dan Conner and Roseanne Conner.
Located on the site of the former Lenny's Bike Shop, the business was the idea of Dan and Roseanne's friend, Ziggy, who financed it, but he then backed out at the last minute to maintain his free-spirit lifestyle, leaving Dan and Roseanne to run it. To acquire the location, they had to take a second mortgage on their house, but afterward, they loped on with the shop under financial restraints. Although Dan was busy with repairs and well-liked in the community, he wasn't making enough on repairs to pay off the loan from the bank. He had a valuable cycle on sale in the shop that Roseanne tried to sell, but she couldn't find any buyers. Dan covered most of the bike repairs in the shop, hiring Becky's boyfriend, Mark Healy to help him in the shop.
At some point, Dan was forced to sell the bike in the shop for far less than it was worth in order to pay his bills. Roseanne also allowed the bill for the security system to lapse despite having valuables in the store safe. Struggling for a few more months, they were forced to close down sometime in the Summer of 1992.
