Let's All Push Our Hands Together For The Stew Train and The Conners Furniture is the seventh episode of Season 4 of The Conners, also the 58th episode overall.
Summary[]
The Lunch Box is busier than ever, and when Jackie devises an offbeat plan of how to serve the customers, it's anything but smooth service. Meanwhile, Dan begins to sell some furniture to make room for his new bride and her things but finds it a bit harder to let go than he thought.
Plot[]
Jackie decides to use low cost alternatives instead of hiring a substitute for Becky. Louise wants to move her furniture in the house. Darlene continues to not listen to Harris, nor Ben.
In-Depth[]
Jackie decides the best substitute for Becky is a toy train which violates building, health, and safety codes. It blocks access to behind the counter and derails the moment it turns a corner. Harris and Darlene are not impressed. They also talk with each other. Harris is about to make the same mistake Darlene did at the same age.
Louise says that she is going on tour again. She also says that she is continuing her plans to make her condominium an unfurnished apartment and move her belongings to the house. They now have to get rid of their own furniture with Louise not even there. Darlene tells her that the new furniture would be better off under the care of tenants.
Darlene asks a father to talk to Harris after seeing how well he gets along with her daughter.
Dan is preparing to clear out the house while everybody is in it. The cling to the furniture that they are using.
They are in the kitchen with the worker from the lounge. Darlene sits next to him while Dan sits opposite trying not to mock him. Jackie sits in between while still being fascinated. Harris walks in expecting a conflict with Darlene. Becky sits next to Harris. However, everybody changes their minds the moment that they find out Aldo ran out on her and his children. The lounge worker tries anyways, which Darlene and Harris agree to a counseling session. Unfortunately, it involves physical contact, which results in a fight.
Dan has to talk to Louise. He says that it is impossible for the family to accept the loss of their old furniture. Louise says that she can store her furniture and asks Dan to pick out new furniture for the master bedroom.
Harris is staying at Aldo's place. Aldo tells her that she can not stay there since his children want to kill her. They are acting out at school to the point of committing felonies. Aldo says that he needs to drug them and is not sure if they are ever going to calm down. His children are adament and vehement about going to war with Harris more than Darlene ever would.
Harris finds Darlene who was right the entire time. She is afraid to talk with Darlene. Darlene wants to be a Cool Mom yet continues to not listen to Harris. She does not even bother to argue with Darlene and moves out on her own.
The lounge worker introduces himself as Nick, who happens to look not that much different from Jeff. Darlene says that she wants to date Nick.
Back at The Lunch Box, Jackie continues to play with her toys. She now thinks it is best for Drones to deliver the food to the tables. She has no idea how to operate the drone.
