Nicole is a factory worker that informally knew Roseanne. She returned when Wellman reopened and made it clear that Darlene has no right to take her frustrations out on the coworkers. When Darlene says that she can never be a writer ever again, Nicole disagreed. It turns out that Nicole is a caricature artist as well as a factory worker, and gave a drawing of Darlene for her to enjoy.
Although it's made clear that she worked together with Roseanne and Jackie in the past, she never appeared in Roseanne.
