The Thrilla Near the Vanilla Extract was the 12th episode of Season 8 of Roseanne, also the 185th overall series episode. It was written by Ed Yeager and was directed by Gail Mancuso. It originally aired on ABC-TV on January 2, 1996.
Synopsis[]
Jackie realizes her hidden talent as a samples person as she and Roseanne take jobs at a grocery store offering food samples. Meanwhile, Dan and David fight about Mark being DJ's role model. Jackie and Roseanne both manage to get into a fight on the first day at their job site the supermarket.
Plot summary[]
Roseanne and Jackie get jobs as product promoters in the local supermarket. Once they start giving out samples, however, sibling rivalry takes over. Roseanne's jealousy runs high when Jackie begins outselling her and their friendly competition turns into a literal food fight.
