The War Room is the 15th episode of Season 9 of Roseanne, also the 213th overall series episode. It was written by Bob Nickman, and was directed by Mark K. Samuels. It originally aired on ABC-TV on January 28, 1997.
Summary[]
A depressed Roseanne locks herself and Jerry in her bedroom with fatty foods, trashy magazines, and TV. Friends and family attempt to get her out, but all ultimately fail to do so--until Mark tells her that Dan hasn't left town yet and wants her back.

Roseanne is depressed about Dan's affair. After she stays in bed for days eating junk food, her friends and family members try different ways to get her to snap out of it. Leon shows a more compassionate side and tries to gives Roseanne some words of encouragement but it fails - she ends up throwing guava chutney on his sweater. Nancy tries to lure her out of bed with crystals and New Age methods. Eventually, Roseanne comes out on her own with a decision about the diner.
