What a Day for a Daydream was the third episode of Season 9 of Roseanne, also the 201st overall series episode. It was written by Richard Kaplan and Garland Testa, and was directed by Mark K. Samuels. It originally aired on ABC-TV on October 1, 1996.
Summary[]
Roseanne has daydreams about her new wealthy life after winning the lottery. Hugh Hefner and Jerry Springer appear as themselves.
Plot[]
With a full dinner table and a home-cooked meal, Roseanne daydreams about the lottery winnings; from a riot on the Jerry Springer Show to a glamorous photo shoot with Jackie and Hugh Hefner, who makes a guest appearance on the show, along with Jerry Springer.

Trivia[]
- Stella Butler and Tory Christopher both appear as audience members. Tory Christopher had just appeared in the previous episode ("Millions from Heaven") playing Cousin Conner, while Stella Butler would later appear in "Hoi Polloi Meets Hoiti Toiti" playing Nurse Stella.
- Despite being credited, Sarah Chalke (Becky Conner) doesn't appear. As a result she oddly doesn't join the rest of the Conner's on The Jerry Springer Show.
