</noinclude>Ziggy is an old friend of Dan Conner who appears in two episodes in Season 2 and 3. The part of Ziggy was portrayed by veteran screen and stage actor Jay O. Sanders.
About Ziggy[]
Ziggy is introduced in season two when he reappears in Lanford for the first time in years surprising Dan and Roseanne. He helps to repair Dan's old motorcycle that had been in the garage for years.
He comes back in season three and he and Dan plan together to buy Lanford Custom Cycles using $20,000 he made on a bike sale to help with the down payment. In the end, Ziggy isn't able to commit to the responsibility of owning a business and leaves Dan and Roseanne to move forward with the business idea on their own. Darlene later discovers that before Ziggy left town again he left a large envelope of cash for Dan and Roseanne.
Trivia[]
In Born to Be Wild It is heavily implied by Jackie that she, regrettably, lost her virginity to Ziggy. Although, she does end up sleeping with him again in The Pied Piper of Landford.
In Second Time Around Dan reveals that at one point (in an old will) Becky would have gone to Ziggy had Roseanne and Dan ever perished.
